I work in a hospital within the IT department. Our department is small. But the hospital is rather large. More then 1,500 employees. I would say that 80% of the people outside the IT department knows notthing about IT. This is not an opinion but a well known fact. I notice that when dealing with non-IT people regarding IT there is some hostility or frustration with these non-it people. They also act almost like they expect it to work and we are supposed to work magic. They don't understand if something takes time and don't appreciate that if we are not here nothing will really work. They also act like we are a servant or expect us to fix it even if we are in a bind. Why are non-technical people so stupid like this....
