Because it's a beautiful country with tourist attractions that appeal to everyone. It has history, culture, nightlife, beaches, festivals, fab weather, fascinating wildlife, stunning scenery, amazing diving, great shopping, fantastic food, wonderful hotels, friendly people... I could go on and on....

There are different attractions for different tourists in Malaysia. For nature, there are Sipadan Island (world top 10 diving spot) for divers, Mulu Cave, Mount Kinabalu, etc; for city life, K.L is not too bad though. Malaysia have cheap yet delicious foods too. Do check it out if you are interested, unless you are not into visiting Malaysia but wondering why others love going there. Cheers!

I've been to Kuala Lumpar, Penang and Langkawi for my honeymoon. I went around Kuala Lumpar seeing the sights, Petronas Towers etc, to the Batu Caves. In Penang went to the beach and visited Georgetown and in Langkawi we hired a jeep and went round the Island, saw waterfalls and other beautiful scenery. Also went jungle trekking. Had a fantastic time and saw three completely different perspectives of Malaysia
Erm Bill G down there, as far as I am aware and last time I went there - Penang is an Island not a city, capital city of Penang is Georgetown????

My favorite city is Penang. What a fun city to visit. I especially recommend visiting in during Christmas time. Wonderful experience. I have traveled S.E. Asia for thirty years and truly enjoy walking and eating in this colorful city.

because Malaysian ppl can generally speak very good english and chinese dialects. any international tourist won't get lost or hav communications breakdown while travelling in any of the Malaysian states.

their money value become bigger because of currency exchange. It's a perfect reason for a shopping spree. Plus the item here relatively cheaper than other country.
