... like a million times, its a nokia 6101 flip phone. the aerial is cracked off it and i opened it the other day and the whole top bit jus came flying off across the room. il have it a year in december, i bought in carphone warehouse does any1 no their policy regarding the years warranty . if i leave it back wil i get a new one or wil they jus tell me to rack off.
ps i didnt get any insurance with it .

Unfortunately most people here are right, you would only get a replacement if the phone stopped working due to a mechanical fault, the fact that you have dropped it has caused the damage rather than the actual fault being with the handset so the only way really is to get a new phone. Put it on your xmas shopping list! lol ;-)

A warranty is not to protect the phone from damage - whether it's meant or not. It's ONLY against product failure in NORMAL use.
If you wanted to insure the phone against breakages...then you needed insurance.
They are just going to tell you that breakages caused by dropping it are not covered...politely or not!!

If you have dropped it several times they will probably argue that this invalidates any warranty. I dont fancy your chances of getting a refund.

since its one year in december.. go to your cell phone provider.. upgrade or renew your contract for anther year and they will eithr give you a free phone or give you a rebate for a new one.. tmobile has it, not sure of any other.
warrenty only covers manufacturer defects, e.g, screen all of a sudden stops working or something of the alike..

best buy urself a new one then they will only replace a mechanical fault.......or get some insurance and then drop it !!!!!!!!
