I am also a sahm to two young boys. Before having children I had a great job and earned more than my husband! But leaving work and relying on my husbands money alone meant lots of cut-backs financially, and I could no longer justify spending money on myself! I now work as a Pampered Chef consultant, and am out just one evening a week (hubby gets to put the boys to bed - they love that!) and I earn £60 - £100 per show! I am generally out of the house for about 3 hours, and the rest (preperation and admin, takes about 1 hour) is done at home. And best of all, I absolutely love what I do!

Regardless, there are a few jobs you can do from home, but the only ones I know of are like catalogue distributers (kleeneze/tupperware agents). you'd have to walk around the local area for that.

You could do medical billing from home. There are a lot of companies that outsource billing to individuals.
