He's a meterosexual guy who understands me more than my husband does LOL. He's good to shop with, talk with, fight with and he always tells me the truth even if it's gonna hurt.
But we just don't like each other that way, so we became best friends about 10years ago.
First meeting was in junior high school. We were seated together at school.

I met her through a friend and that person betrayed her. I witnessed it all and stood by her "she was right".
Then within two weeks, her fiance died. She did not have any one locally and I had just spoke to her the night before, so she called me to get help to the hospital. I was a good friend and compassionate to that horrible event and the after effects. She was gracious and wonderful it has been 14 years now!
We are sisters. We have gone through the best and worst of times together. Its hard work and worth every minute. She is part of my family and life. We now live on different coasts and talk everyday by phone or email.
I highly recommend that you get a best friend. A real friend brings out the very best in YOU! Each journey is shared- you are happy for each other, with no "feelings" of jealousy or envy, its empowering to love another person in a trusting, honest way. Its like doubling your life experience!
My husband was jealous of our friendship at first until, he learned quickly that she was a serious asset in our relationship.

Actually not best friends but close friends. Some are my classmates since elementary and some are first year and second year, and then i realizes that this are really my friend when I'm a second year high school student and now we always enjoy the bond of each other and i hope also in the next, next year even though we are not classmates or schoolmates we still enjoy the company of each other.

I hated him at first and couldn't stand his presense because I found him to be very irritating. Four years pass and we're best friends... haha. He is homosexual and didn't find that out until two years out of the four of our friendship. He understands me more than anyone else, including my fiance. He's the most truthful person i've ever met
and we tell eachother things straight up instead of beating around the bush.
