The British government though voted into power by the British public has no feelings for their own people. The only concern that is shown is for the misguided downtrodden terrorist who has been forced into such savage acts because our life is better than his. The poor fools believe that killing themselves is a sure way to achieve greatness. The only thing that they achieve is a long long sleep. We all know that the only way to get anywhere in the UK is to be an activist foaming at the mouth so that you will be granted untold wealth and property to suit, with police protection in case some hard working Brit takes umbridge.

I am sick to DEATH with all of the anti-muslim (be they exremeists or not) talk recently.
1) If they do feel it necessary to blow themselves to bits on our soil - more fool them! We brits (as was proved by 7/7) are made of strong stuff, and simply pick ourselves up in a disaster and moan about it.
2)Islam means PEACE for crying out loud! Stop tarring everyone with the same brush.
3) If you kick people out for being anti-british (or against the country in which they reside), you will quickly lose the people who are for the country. There would be no critisism - no threat - no one to give the other side of the argument. No democracy. I feel that hate speech could actually be used as a tool to improve society - let's actually listen to these people rather than hiding them under the carpet where they can insight even more violence.
4) Anyone who says that we Brits are TOO tolereant of such peoples should remember that even science has an Adam and an Eve now - it has been 'proven' through genetics that we are all decended from one small tribe of Afican (Black, might I add) people who spread (they think...) across the whole globe. If this is true then I really shouldn't be answering this question. People shouldn't be blowing themselves apart in the name of a peaceful religion anyway.
As for what side I'm on, I'm on the side which is tolerant, unbiased and which empathises with all beliefs - not just the prevailling one.
Oh... there doesn't seem to be one....!

You're quite angry aren't you? There has been legislation passed which is supposed to prevent the more fanatical muslim protesters from carrying banners calling for another 9/11 or beheading white infidels and such.
But you can't just kick people out of their country because you don't agree with them. Equally, censoring what people can and cannot say can be a dangerous thing. We've got this little democracy idea that we're trying out and although your 'kick anyone out and dress them in an orange jumpsuit' idea might work in the short term it's just going to make a bad situation worse.
Of course this doesn't mean that your average person in the street thinks it's just fine for terrorists to be allowed to plot bombings and killings without fear of the law. But can you honestly tell me that the war in Iraq has smothered any opposition? Or are we now in a much worse situation due to a war that has fired up even moderate Muslims and moved them to take action?

I could go on and write something sarcastic but i will not. You see you need to understand some principles of democracy. Freedom of speech even if we don't like the message, even if the message itself is dangerous is an integral part of a democratic society. The possible security risk is a price we have to pay for freedom. Otherwise, who will be the judge of what is and what's not appropriate? Remember if you don't like something someone says you have the right to say the opposite, you don't have the right however to shut them up!
Thank God UK and US are still democratic countries (i hope) otherwise you would suggest that the US by being tolerant towards extreme right wing militant groups (we all know who they are - they are quite extrovert remember Oklahoma?) is actually embracing them. Remember everyone is innocent until proven otherwise and still this holds in the western world (USA included!)
And another thing no one holding a British passport can be kicked out of the UK or in that matter an American citizen be kicked out of the US. Fundamental human rights (ask your local senator)

I can tell you now that most Brits hate Muslim terrorists. I do
But the reason London got bombed on 7/7 last year was because Blair folowed Bush into the war in Iraq - that was the "justification" the murdering bombers gave for their acts. Had Blair stayed out of it the bastards wouldn't have had an excuse to attack us.
Besides you Americans gave £100,000,000s to the ******* IRA to commit terrorist atrocities in shopping malls and slaughter innocent British and Irish men women and children. But hey thats was "OK" because they were "brave freedom fighters" against the oppression of the British and all that wasn't it?!?!?
Hypocrites. You don't like it when it happens to YOU do you?

hi witchywoman, the reason is because we are just one big doormat! in saying that, we cant tar everyone with the same brush, so to speak. thats like saying that, all americans are obese burger eating big mouths! which i am sure isnt the truth, but that is what the stereotyped american is over here! a lot of british muslims are disgusted by terrorists behaviour and openly oppose their actions. we are a tolerant nation by nature, but to accuse us of backing them before the usa is just crazy, i am personally offended by that statement, we felt the pain and loss on 9/11, i didnt just affect americans you know, that day was a sad day for every human being who believes in peace and freedom.

You brits are a tolerant bunch by nature I think, its due to having a multi-cultural society for so long (cos of the Empire etc). Don't know of you could deport people just because they are anti british, this is a democracy and as long as you are not hurtng anyone or inciting people to crime you can pretty much say or think what you like, and a good thing too, really.
