Even back in Abraham Lincoln's time (a Republican) opposed a Republican rule to prevent immigrants from voting. Today, a letters went out to Hispanics saying they had no right to vote, even if they are naturalized and are registered.

Letter refer to is meant for illegal immigrants or the citizens in which case is still pending - should not vote and there is nothing wrong in it.

You're sadly misinformed, reba. Don't believe everything you hear in the liberal media. Voting is a right reserved for citizens only, as it should be. I'd like to know where you got that story about Lincoln -- I'm guessing some "history" class in one of our fine high schools or colleges.

Voting is, quite properly, a privilege reserved to citizens, of the US or most any other country. The letter to which you refer is erroneous -- a natualized citizen is fully entitled to vote.

Even legal aliens can not vote until such time that they become citizens.

Where did you get this information? I never heard of it and heard just the opposite.

Also, if they are illegal, how do they know where they are?

The letter did NOT say that. It said if they were ILLEGAL and they voted, they would be prosecuted.
