I want to find out if a Barrister in Togo in West Africa is in a genuine practise.I received letters from this person and want to know if it's genuine as it may bring in money to me or cost me money. How do I find out?????? Please help, only genuine answers need reply, thanks

You've got a scam email from a 419 fraudster.

No he's not a real barrister. Real barristers don't use hotmail and yahoo.
Real barristers can spell

If you're daft enough to do it, they'll ask for more money for some other strange tax or shipping fee.

I always reply to these emails and string them along. I've had the silly scammers chasing all over to various western union offices to collect the money which I haven't sent....ooops

These letters from so called barristers in West Africa are a common scam. Two things to consider. 1. does it sound too good to be true - then it probably is a scam. 2. is the english good - if it tries too hard to sound legal and the standard of english is poor the again it is probably a scam.
My advice - leave anything from West Africa alone.
