No. I got a postcard a couple of weeks ago listing all the candidates in my state that AARP supports. Why would they spend that kind of money then tell people not to vote?

I don't watch Fox news for this very reason. It wouldn't surprise me, tho. I do belong to AARP but haven't visited the web site, DON'T VOTE.org, because I know what the issues are and how they affect me. That is the purpose of the site. I encouage ALL of you to visit so that you get an unbiased and clear understanding of the issues so that you can make an intelligent vote tommorrow instead of one that is reacting to the negativity being put out there by BOTH sides.

Do you suggest that FOX news is reporting the truth?

AARP seems to be advertising "dont vote STUPID", and "learn the issues before voting. This way the elderly Republicans, long since devieved by the GOP, will understand that voting Republican is not in their best interests. Then its up to the elderly whether no to vote Republican or not vote at all, which is essentially the same thing. Remember, the AARP is on the side of the elderly, whereas the Republicans are not.

I think the aarp is controlled defiantly by republicans, I just wrote a question about them a few days ago.. They must be spending millions of dollars of seniors money with television ads, confusing people on which candidate to vote for.

AARP has always encouraged seniors to vote, so I don't know where you got this baloney. As a long-time member, I know that AARP lobbies for increasing senior's benefits.

I belong to AARP and havent had a phone call, piece of mail or any other form of communication telling me to stay away from the polls. I, myself, feel that most intelligent people should stay away form pollsters but not the polls. My opinion can and would be held against me and often misrepresented by a pollster or a newscaster.

It is probably Fox who is telling the elderly to stay away from the polls!

Wonder how many more lies they can make up before the election?
