Guys who beat or hurt woman whether the woman is married to the guy or not, is a useless worm who feed on other's pain to make themselves look strong & boost their confident. Woman who are abused by their spouse should seek help from related party. Marriage is not a license to beat up a person, it's a promise to take care of each other no matter how sick or poor the partner are.

It's not always men. I'm a girl and know several women who treated their husbands like total sh** after they roped them into getting married. They're also now divorced but not before putting the men through pure he**. Men just don't admit to it as much so usually all you hear about is the bad men.
By the way that saying life's a bit** and then you marry one happened to me. My EX got fat and b*****. I only married him because I was under the false impression that being the women I would be the wife!

If I want to beat something, I can get a punching bag.
If I want a slave, I can get a whore for a lot less money than a wife.
So no marriage is not a license to treat your woman like a slave or a punching bag.

What not ask the companion ridiculous over-generalized hyperbolic inflammatory question: "Women once you get married is it okay to deny your husband sex for the next 40 years?"

What is your point asking such a question? What statistics from what source do you have to show that wife-beating is "common"? Where is the slavery? What country are you writing from?

Oh never mind. You're not serious.

Maybe you did not get lucky with your husband...
But also : "It takes two to tango!".
How do you treat him? Why did he change so much?
Sorry, but I disagree with you totally on this subject.
Most married people I know over the years just got closer and are happier then ever.
