Zaid, you can only run one antivirus program on you pc or you will have serious conflict with your system. You can have three or four antispyware program without any conflict.
The world wide web is loaded with virusus an I just find it shocking that you are running your pc without any antivirus protection.
Here is an excelllet free program that I used for nine years and never had one virus.
http://www.avast.com Avast is out of Prague, Their free program is the same as their corporate version. They just make corporate pay. They will ask you for your email address so they can send you your free key that is good for one year. After the one year is up, you need to request a new key.
This program has one of the very background scanners that will catch a virus like the ones you have and destroy them before they ever enter your pc. Plus you will get automatic updates two or three times per day. Excellent support. All of this for free. An it is better technology then what you would purchase.

Download an install. Run the scan an always reboot after a virus or viruses have been found and destroyed. Same for spyware.

if the computer has been attacked by a virus and you are smart enough to know it, you should be smart enough to go into the registry and delete it. But, seeing as you are asking what to do about it... perhaps you aren't. Go out and buy a good virus software... like Norton. Put it on the PC and do a virus scan 2 or 3 times. Delete quarantines items and go about your daily life.

Firstly you should have an anti virus software updated with the latest virus definitions like norton or mcafee or any other one to detect such viruses. You can have a free scan at symantec web site and when you get the results check the removal instructions at their web site.

install the yahoo tool bar it will help eliminate viruses that you may have picked up. Be careful in using public computers. Always use your virus protection software to scan the disk or 3.5 or memory stick prior to downloading the programs and save yourself a headache.

Give up using Windows, and install Linux on your computer. Linux is immune to all viruses, malware, spyware and adware.
Go to www.distrowatch.com to find out how to get all the popular flavors of Linux...
...then do an image search for Linux screen grabs on Google.
