Yes. I'd be silly not to, after all my family has endured. My dad beat cancer at 36. My sister beat cancer at 15. My mom beat cancer at 40. My other sister survived a house fire (arson). My uncle died last week of a heart attack...my kitten died last week of congestive heart disease...and both of my parents just found out that they have patches of skin cancer.
Without faith, what would we have?

Absolutely. I grew up with a relationship with God and Jesus. It only got stronger when my husband got cancer at 21, during our engagement, and then again at 22 after we got married. If we didn't have God to lean on, we wouldn't have done as well.
We also just went through IVF to get pregnant. It worked the first time, and I don't have to make any choices about what to do with the extra 15 embryos, as only 2 made it (the ones we used) and 1 survived.
I thank Him all the time for giving the scientists and docs their knowledge to do what they do, and for answering my prayers that I don't have to make that choice for my unborn children.

No. Faith is the ULTIMATE evil: it is the deliberate rejection of the essential part of one's humanity -- the ability to reason.
