Do you just leave them in the yard with extra food and water or kennel them?

kennel them for peace of mind... or if you have a friend or relative who knows your dog and can check in on him/her, that's another option...

Either way, if your dog is a house dog or a "Yard Dog" since dogs are domesticated animals, the responsible thing to do is to pay the money and take him to a good kennel. Things happen that we have no control over such as "Mother Nature" can change instantly and if your dog is just left in the yard with food and water, but no help, the results could be bad. His water could easily run out or he could tip it over, etc.
Do the right thing and place him in a good kennel.

Kennels can be expensive. Don't leave extra food and water. ants can get on the food and the water can get knocked over. Plus if people know you are not home, they can come into your yard and steal the dog and then sell them to an experimental lab where they torture animals with their experiments. I would pay a relative to stay at my home and watch the dog. Maybe there is a good neighbor you can depend on to watch it. If there isn't anyone, you will need to board it with a vet. My dog will not eat if I am gone for 7 days so you need a vet to make the dog eat so it won't get sick...

Try neighbours or family first,people close to you and your dog !!! Unless you can get a really well recomended kennel !!!

have a friend u can trust with ur house come and watch it, otherwise kennel it, dont leave it outside!

you should kennel them, or leave them with someone. leaving them alone (atleast to my dog) wont eat or drink.

No!That's completely wrong,haw can you even think at that.Dogs have souls just like us humans and they don't like being left alone.I usually leave my dog with one of my relatives,usually my sister!

usually u can have care to ur pet by any of ur relative or friends
but they should love pet then only they can take care of ur pet

u can do that, but u need to have someone check up on them, make sure that they have food and water
