no,im afraid you have to format your drive and re-install 2000 as a fresh install
this is because windows operating systems are not backward installable,so if you try to install 95 on a windows 98 p.c it will display a message saying you need to format the drive and set up using a set up disc
however you should be able to boot up from cd as windows 2000 is similar to xp ,code wise,so set cd-rom to first boot device in bios and restart your p.c,if this is possible then a message will appear saying"press any key to boot from cd"
you could create a partition and install xp and 2000 as a dual boot, however make sure you install 2000 first as its allways the older operating system first when creating a dual boot computer
good luck

while your laptop boots up, you need to be able to "tension Boot" making use of a disk. as quickly as there, persist with the training, and finally you would be asked regardless of in case you prefer to format the complicatedcontinual. basically choose definite, and your complicatedcontinual would be wiped of each and every thing. I repeat: E V E R Y T H I N G. so this is recommended to shop your documents, photos, and so forth. to a flashcontinual until eventually now dealing with this installation. desire this enables. P.S. Steam account could be siiick hahahahahaha

I honestly don't think you can do that but I hear ya, I have Windows 2000 and love it. I've become so familiar with it that I'm chicken to make the jump.

It is not a reversible process as far as I know. I think you have to re-install the OS.
