I've seen a few posts on here suggesting he's really not such a bad guy after all...

Chef Grrl, what Republicans put him in power? He seized it all by himself. You'll have to fill us in with your unique knowledge of Iraqi history. This one should be good...

Yeah they do, they don't really know why, but they figure that would be the worst thing for Bush so they support it. They are desperate for power.

It's pretty sad.

The only posts you've seen are posts by Bush bots masquerading as Democrats. Typical GOP crap. Everyone is glad he's gone. But is the price worth it? Want to ask 3000 families if their son or daughter was worth it? We had the bastard bottled up with no fly zones and sanctions. He wasn't a threat except in the pea brain of the Great Decider. "He tried to kill my daddy." got replaced by "My daddy/son/mom/daughter/sister/brother was killed in Iraq." Sacrifices the Bush team never made. The GOP and their apologists are scum. Get my meaning, friend?

We don't need to....Rumsfeld, Reagan & Bush I are already on record.
In the old days of real-politik, before the fantasies of neoconservatism, Saddam was a useful means of stability in a country poisoned by ethnic and religious hatred.
We can see today the consequences of forgetting this history....oh, that's right- President Bush DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THIS HISTORY before he invaded (he didn't know there were Shi'a and Sunni muslims in addition to the Kurds).
It's stunning foreign policy incompetence.

You'll have to show the posts to back up that statement. Everyone agrees Saddam is a despot. We disagree on the method and efficacy of removing him from power.

Empathy is putting your self in the different individual's shoes and touching directly to how he feels. i might by no skill watch Hannibal and function by no skill considered any of his video clips because of the fact i might discover it too demanding. My guess is that he no longer basically has an empathy illness, yet he additionally has no experience of right and incorrect.

Why would we want to do that? Contrary to popular opinion on here, liberal does not mean ignorant. Why would I support a dictator? My only issue with him is why didnt the CIA kill him after the Gulf War when they had the chance? Seems like they had an agenda and thought he would be worth more to the US alive than dead??? You dont hear anyone talking about that on here, do you?

Well, he was better than the alternative. At least when Hussein was in charge there were no Islamic terrorists in Iraq. We used to support Hussein when it was in our interests, but most dittos dont remember that Bush senior, when he was in charge of the CIA, gave US developed biological weapon precursors to Hussein to combat Iran. Funny the neocons dont talk about this.

Are you really that desperate? Is this really what political discourse in the U.S. has come to?
Stop believing in a fictional reality. Come back to us my good man.
Oh - and sense when is Donald Rumsfeld a liberal?
