Beyonce has gone further in her career by venturing out into acting and clothing design . Aaliyah didn't get a chance to expand into good acting roles like beyonce....so i don't think that's a fair question but .....Beyonce had made more money !

Hands down Aaliyah because she was real. Beyonce looks like everybody else plus its no surprise that she dumped Destiny's Child which was her & her parents' plan all along.

this is so predictable- Guys are going to say Beyonce(cos she's sexy) and Gals are goin to say Aaliyah(cos they hate Beyonce)-But i think it isnt fair to compare them as i think Aaliyah's a legend dat will always live on and Beyonce is also a great great singer/entertainer so i cant answer dis,SORRY!

Aaliyah, she seemed more down to earth, real and more calm when it came to her music. Beyonce just over does it....

I'd definitely prefer to listen to Aaliyah's voice. When Beyonce sings in high pitch or gets too carried away it just doesn't work.. I seriously cannot listen to that de ja vue (sp?) song without changing the station... the tone is just awful!!
She was better when she was with Destiny's Child in my opinion.
