What sort of things does he like? What games would he play with his friends? Ask some of the parents of the friends coming to the party maybe. Any movie they would want to watch? I know that might not be the best suggestion!! Games...how about a scavenger hunt? Or...make your own pizza (keeps them busy for a litte bit and it isn't loading them with sugar). Get the dough, and get toppings - that will take some time out of the day. How long is the party? How many people invited? What does your son suggest? Good luck...Sorry if I didn't help!!

We used to play this game when I was a camp counselor. Take a regular sized blanket and spread it on the floor, tell everyone to get on. Then tell everyone to get off, fold the blanket in half and tell everyone to get on. Repeat the process until it becomes too small for all to get on. You'll be surprised how small the blanket can get and how creative the kids can bee in figuring out ways to stay on.

make home video "magic".. you ask them to sit somewhere and do a "magic" clap or something, then you stop recording.. ask them to move, continue recording...then show them the video...
they will do it 100 times by themselves and have a wonderful time...
