And why does this happen? They plot preIraq, pre9-11 mind you.
So why is your land such fertile ground for Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism?
And why do you tolerate it, if not overtly being sympathetic to their "cause"?

The problem with islamic extremists is that
They are Muslims first then English, French, Indian etc...
They can kill and tell lies so long their religion benefits from it...
They do not believe in equal rights and have no respect for others...
They will take the maximum of benefits from any system and will not themselve contribute in the system...behaving like parasites.
They will never take part in rallyes to condemn their own people despite they have committed the most outrageous acts..
but they will take part in rallyes and shout death threats to the cartoonists

British land is fertile for Islamic fundementalism?
British people enjoy freedom...
Their free society also does not discriminate against foreign nationals
It is because of Briton's respect for these freedom that muslims make abuse and do what they do..
Remember that Britons do not enjoy the same fredom in Islamic countries.
You will not even be allowed to carry a bible into their country and over here they they can bark like mad dogs when not allowed to wear veils in schools!
I think that they've got to be given a lesson..
We all got to speak the same language as them..
If they bark, we must bark and if they bite we must bite too..
If we continue to remain silent and not allow our voice to be heard, then it will be silenced for good. Our elders have fought many wars and have sacrificed their lives for us to enjoy the freedom we do now. Do you want to hand it over to these extremists in a plate as gift??

Britain, like much of the West has had a great tolerance for religion for a long time. Tolerance for religion is such that extreme views are not restricted in any way. The Saudi leadership have funded the extreme views of the Wahabist sect of Islam heavily since WWII and much more since the 1970's. This sect maintains schools of hatred in the Islamic world, where jihad against the West is taught from birth. These schools are all over the world and some fo them are quite prominent - finding legions fo Muslims who will emigrate to the nations with the "better known" schools. Britain has several. There are several in the US. They are in many countries. Freedom of religion being what it is, there continues to be a reluctance to "face up" to the fact that these schools teach hatred of "the West" and its ways and their encouragement to action to "purify" the world. It was The 9/11 commission noted that Wahabist teachings and Islamic Jihadists were the enemy (not Muslims in general - and not the generic fuzzy group called "terrorists"). It was THREE YEARS after this revelation by the 9/11 commission before Presidient Bush would call the war against "terrorism", a war against Islamic Radicalism (which is what it is). Still - the public does not want to hear about a war against a religion. It is not the kind of thing Westerners wish to contemplate on. As noted, Britain has some of the key Wahabist and Radical teachers in the world - so you see a lot of the radicals carrying British passports.

Saying people tolerate it is exactly the same as saying why don't Muslims condemn extremists. Many do - and if they had the opportunity WOULD do so in public. However many don't mix with those who are extremists, and those who do are in turn extremists themselves. You wouldn't find many conservative republicans in a strip club, so they wouldn't necesarily mix with the people who would patronise such a place, and therefore wouldn't get a chance to publicly condemn them to their faces.

Just because Britain contains radicals it doesn't mean we put up with it - even less that we condone it, it just means our wretched government can't be bothered to do a thing about it, something all governments do, from whatever point of view you have. Does Bush do anything on abortion for instance? Of course he doesn't, it's an issue with too many opinions, so he can't please everyone at the same time, so it's just ignored.

If of course you really do believe that British people are sympathetic to terrorists then write to your senator or congressman or whatever and suggest that the US invades Britain for it, I'm sure you'll get a lot of support if you can really prove Britain is sympathetic to the wrong terrorists. I say wrong because of course many US citizens were sympathetic to the IRA and actually funded them - but then they were the right terrorists weren't they?

Britains imperial past means it has historical links with many countries - some of which have strong radicalised segments.

Britain is also a liberal democracy, however this doesn't mean it tolerates terrorism - I'm sure the police are doing a lot to try and arrest plotters.

You may believe that freedom is free but it isn't. The price for freedom is not only paid in wars but in peace time by victims of crimes (including terrorism). If the whole population of the UK was locked up in prison there would be no crime - but would this be a price worth paying?

Maybe for the same reason there are so many anti-government groups in the US after-all many of the attacks there have also been home grown terrorists (Macvie)
How exactly would you suggest we deal with them? Ask everyone who is not white and christian "are you a terrorist?"
Where would you deport all the non-whites to?
If they are caught they go to prison and the rest are presumed innocent until they are found to be otherwise.
I am not sympathetic at all to their "cause" but I hope we never imprison people so we can find out if they linked to terrorists then a few years later we find out we were wrong
I would always prefer tolerance over intolerance

These people are not Native Britons (as in British people whose families have lived here for generations).

They are Pakistanis and Bangladeshis etc. They were born over here because their parents immigrated here from Pakistani or Bangladesh or other muslim nations in the 60s and 70s. They still speak their own language and live according to their own customs and many of them live in "ghetto" areas which are virtually no go areas for whites and other non-muslims. They make no attempt to integrate.

Although they have grown up with the benefits of British citizenship - the NHS, free schooling, welfare benefits etc, most of them have no love or patriotism for Britain. Most still see themselves as Pakistani or Bangladeshi and spend a lot of time visiting their family in those countries. When it comes to cricket they support Pakistan/Bangladesh all the way!

They really only see Britain as a place to make money.

But when they get into trouble abroad (as this one British born Pakistani who's been arrested and sentenced to death for mudering a taxi driver in Pakistan) they are "British" all the way and start waving their British passports and expecting the government to bail them out. Its sickening.

Most of them wouldn't want to actually LIVE in their families homeleands because of the poverty and misery over there. But they still don't care anything for Britain. Islam will always come first with them.

If the police or Government try to clamp down on these nutters they are accused of being "racist".

Any British person who stands up against these nutters is also accused of being "racist".

So there's nothing we can do other than let them run riot all over our country and take the piss out of us.

No decent person in Britain is sympathetic to murdering terrorists. Unlike the Yanks who were funding the IRA for God knows how long.

Well, this question is proof of the old Nazi propaganda saying that if you tell a lie often enough, then people will start believing it.

The majority of people in the US probably have very little idea of what is really going on in foreign affairs but still have some naging doubts in spite of what they are being told.

About 2/3 of UK/US citizens want their troops home from an illegal invasion that has killed over 600,000 people. 92% of iraqis want the foreigners to leave their country but this is not the message we are getting from the mainstream news.

There needs to be a real and independent enquiry into the alleged plots that is being denied by the current government. When we really know what happened, that would be the time to work out an agenda for what actions need to be taken.

I also do not intend on being racist but i completely agree 100%, the one's who are not british come to our country, become british citizens, scrounge off our taxes, steal our jobs, houses and money, then use the profits and our good will to travel to iraq or pakistan or wherever is terrorist country these days and go to training camps to learn how to blow up our country...don't get me wrong it is not all of the islamic and muslim people in britain....but it is quite a few, and when you find them training young children to be extremists in mosks in this country, it kind of pee's me off a lot....Then you get idiot extremist leaders living in this country preaching death in public upon our country, our nation and getting away with it...when all we have to do is suspect a person of being dangerous and we get accused of racism........It is an absoloute outrage....

Because the British government has been kind to these people, giving them a free education (which they ignore), health care, job placement opportunities (which they refuse), freedom of speech, of assembly and of religion. They bend over backwards to accommodate them, allow them to live in a safe society and allow them to freely express themselves.

For all these kindesses, this rubbish denegrates Britain, bombs and kills its citizens and plot revenge for nonexistent affronts. They or their parents have been allowed to enter one of the most free countries in the world and this is how they are repaid.

Send the bastards home.
