Are birth control ineffective within the first 3 months of use?

I switched the pill. I have been taking the other one for 2 years and switched.

The birth control pill is usually effective after 7 days. If you just switched from one brand to another without a break, then it should be effective immediately.

better to wait for 3 months after tubectomy.
in the meantime use other temporary methods.

My doctor told me they could be considered effective after one month.
