Not much just push fluids and hope the crew cheif finds a releif driver.

I think this would only happen if the driver was chomping on a piece of chewing tobacco during the race, causing him to vomit like those kids from The Sandlot who went on that amusement park ride.

Well, my son and I raced for many years. On a number of occasions my son took out TV people to give them a feel for what racing was about.

One of them returned to the pits and could not see out of his visor as it was covered on the inside with vomit !

Occasionally I did feel sick when racing, particularly through stupid left/right chicanes but I never threw up.

No. Something like this has never happened in the history of auto racing. If something like this were to ever occur, the world and the universe as we know it would implode like a neutron star.

Well, a few years back Tony Stewart was violently ill while driving. He actually won the race. But his crew chief had to rush over with a blanket to wrap him in when he got out of the car. Tony's fire suit was completely ruined as you couldn't get the stains out of it.
