But when i go to the menu bar on Tools and click on Language and choose spanish it doesn't change at all so can someone tell me where else can i go to change english to spanish on Microsoft Word File?

You can't just translate it this way. The language menu option is to allow spell check in another language. Computers suck at translating languages. You could try http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Although its so bad it won't help you with spanish class :D

I think it just offers translation as a reference and not a conversion tool. May be someone has an answer for this
