My friend's 7 year old sister, when she died of an aneurysm, her parents donated one of her eyes to a blind man. They didn't want to donate both of her eyes because she had beautiful eyes.

Yes, Im an organ donor. It doesnt matter which parts they use. If I have them, and they need them, they can take them. I dont understand why people wouldnt be organ donors. What good are they to you after you die? so they can rot away in a grave? I find that very selfish, when thousands and thousands of people are waiting for donations because without them they'll die. Obviously if I'm dead theyre not doing me any good anymore so why not let someone else have them?
I like helping people..so if I can help people even after I die, how great is that?

Making the form of determination makes no longer a lot distinction. in case you get some ailment close on your dying that variations this decision, you may't donate. No wellness care professional is relatively going to renowned your determination. So enable's say for argument's sake you do tell your wellness care provider. Does that wellness care professional, the wellness midsection and each of the workers in touch no longer ought to fulfill specific standards? do no longer anticipate you will donate the products of your self which you anticipate. Eyes are common, dermis is easy, bones are common. you may forget approximately inner organs. in case you think of you're donating an organ, evaluate that in the time of the experience that your individual wellness care professional did improve your dying, then your organ could be broken too. no longer something interior the physique works basically via itself.

Yes I am an organ donor. I have been thinking of taking it off of my drivers license though. I've been freaked out by my husbands talk of closed casket burials do to organ donation patchwork. I know I will be gone and it should not matter...but I don't want to be a science experiment!

Yes. I believe that if my organs are still in good condition when I'm gone, I would like to give them to some one who needs them to live on. I figure why would I need them? I'm dead. They can have everything inside, just leave the outer stuff, and my eyes, since I will not be cremated.

No, I'm not. Because of my health problems, there is no way I could be an organ donor. My husband and niece are organ donors, though.

yes.Heart, lungs, liver-what ever else. When I die I won't need it anymore, someone out there does to have a chance at life, why not do it? I plan to be cremated anyways,so they might as well get what they need before it gets cooked.
