I dreamed we sat beside a river ..I told him "where are we?"he answered"oh we are in paradise." i said "wow so dying is not that bad if we are going to be in a such a place.all else i remember is that we just were sitting and watching the river.
what could this mean?

There may be something not resolved in terms of relationship with your ex. Perhaps you still have feeling with him.
death = separation
in Paradise = desire
river = regret
That may mean there is a little regret of splitting up with your ex.
Subconsciously you may want to make up the relationship with your ex. Projecting him saying such good thing about being death means that more or less you still have feeling with him.
You had this regret of him being your ex.
However, if you have seen movie like that and that dream may just blend into your ex in your mind. In that case, it may just mean a play back of your daily experience. Your ex may just a symbol you found for relationship you are looking for

It is just a dream and nothing else ... You must not be willing to admit it .. or you maybe .. But I think you kinda miss him.
