After my husband had hernia surgery his balls and penis turned black and blue (like a bruise)...is everything going to work normanlly and be ok down their?

This is most likely microvascular leakage.If the bruising does not subside within a week or worsens he should see the doctor again without delay.If everything works now and the condition does not worsen then he should be fine.

What are seeing as the testicles are very thin and very visable, are the effects of surgery inside the body. The surgeons can maniputate internal organs during the procedure and a little bleeding may occur locally. What you are seeing are bruises and they will dissapate in time.

Yes just have him ice pack it as its just blood flowing to the skin causing bruises.

He'll probably be OK. Warm compresses will help his body re-absorb the blood causing the discoloration.
