We must both be aging 'cause I agree with the outlawing.
Not the horrible death bit though, they know not what they do or the pain they inflict on others.
Ergo, they cannot be held responsible.

Reality TV speaks volumes about the state of this nation. I'm ancient or must be as I would like to see all participants put on a ship, set sail and then ceremoniously sunk in the middle of the Atlantic. Ahhhh, entertainment.

You are being a bit harsh...I don't watch either of those shows. I think that some reality shows are fun to watch and entertaining, but none of it is truly reality. NO one can act the same as they would without a camera in their face, or the knowledge that other people will be viewing and judging them. Also most situations they are placed in are not real. Many are edited heavily, and partially scripted and "judges" can create biases for ones that have elimination and results.

The best thing would be not to have any reality shows. But I must admit that watching Big brother is interesting sometimes - to see how pathetic can some people get. I watched this year's one, because it soo much reminded me of my former workplace in a way!

I'm 18 and 100% agree with you about Big Brother... it's a load of crap basically.
But my dad has just gotten fox and I got to admit, America's Next Top Model has me a little addicted. And a few other reality shows... more then I'm willing to admit haha.
But you are right, the contestants should DEFINITELY suffer sever consequences from society.

I quite enjoy a good bit of reality TV. Its amazing what people will do for a shot at their 15 minutes of fame and its amazing just how empty their lives really are. it makes me feel great about my life if ever I'm feeling down!!

all reality tv, big bother, x factor, love island, dance on bbc, all should be consigned to the scrap heap, it is relatively cheap tv, costs the networks nothing to make, because soft dappy viewers pay premium rates to vote non entities of a crap show. But as long as stupid people view these shows they will show them, and we will forever have these crap and stupid shows on our tv, the answer! DON'T WATCH RUBBISH THEN YOU WON'T HAVE TO ANSWER STUPID QUESTIONS
