You're good hearted and selfish people pray on that. They become angry because they can't believe you'd have the guts to ask them for money after you should clearly know they don't have any.. it isn't personal so much as immaturity and embarassment...

I would stop lending these people money, and if they become angry/leave you then obviously you'll realize what they were in your life for and be better off without them.

a person is only used to their own extend. meaning that you can only be used if you let other people use you. if someone wants to borrow money just do the right thing and say sorry but I can't. being a single mom and loosing money unnecessarily is hard these days. you need the money more then other people and maybe they don't realize that. just let them know and they may understand more then you give them credit for.

the thing you are doing wrong here is saying yes...no is a very simple word...SAY IT! dont be a doormat for these users! you have your children who truly need you to think of! if it was just you then maybe the soft hearted routine would work but as a mother you have to become a lioness and ATTACK anything that harms your children..and giving money to bums who dont need it when your children need it is harming them! wake up honey and say not only no but HELL NO, you cant get a damn dime!

1- when they ask you for money i dont have it, you have a child for goodness sake
2- Are your sure these people are your friends
you need to sit and think about it , they use because they know you are going to give them the money you need to stop , you have only one friend you needto focus on you and your child that what important

I say you must start to be like a *****!!! It is your rights to ask back your money that they borrowed from you. Or else, end the friendship and let them know how you really feel.

Never let friends or family borrow money. If you give it to them ,then it is a gift.Don't expect it back. That way there are no hard feelings.
I never loan money to anyone.

when they ask for money tell them you have only X amount of dollars and tell them you need it for your kids....sometimes its hard to say no, but in this case you need to!!!! You need to set boundaries and remember when doing this people will only treat you with as much respect as you demand!!!!
