PS: This is only a choice question.
Here is my teacher's reason (why we can't choose A): Very+Positive Adjectives ,lieve "very good " " very fine ". And Too+Negative Adjectives, like "too bad" "too difficult"
I don't know what to choose...sad

Both A and B are correct, but they have different meanings.
A)" It is very difficult for us to climb up the mountain", means
that it is really hard for us to climb the mountain, but we CAN
do it.
B)" It is TOO difficult for us to climb up the mountain", means
that it is difficult, so difficult that we cannot climb up the
mountain. It is much too difficult for us to climb.
Here is another example for you:
Teacher: "This test is very difficult to pass".
Yusheng: " Don't worry. I can pass it".
Bad Student: " This test is too difficult for me to pass. I could
never pass this test. It is too difficult".
Hope this answers your question.
Cheers!

A is wrong; it's too vague. But why the hell would you want to learn English from a non-native speaker? The fact that you're asking this question, I think, shows why the blind shouldn't lead the blind! Er fan zhi yi ran! Wo yao cong Meiguo ren xue Guo yu GANMA?! Zhen shi de! And anyone who downs me is a goddamn pandapetter.

Yusheng:
Both you and your English teacher are correct. But there is a MORE correct response and that is A. "It is very difficult for us to climb up the mountain." While both are correct, A is more correct because of the formal use of the word 'very' which is considered an "intensifier." I hope that helps.

A is correct. I think your teacher needs to go back to school.
B is also correct. but the thing I am saying is that to say A is wrong is incorrect. your teacher should know that there are more that one accepted ways of saying it correctly.
A & B are right. (A is not wrong)
I disagree with "daniel b"
TOO: to an excessive extent or degree; beyond what is desirable, hard to do..
DIFFICULT: not easily or readily done; requiring much labor, skill, or planning to be performed successfully..
It does not say IMPOSSIBLE
Too:

http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary
Difficult:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/difficult
http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/difficult
it more often refers to something so difficult that it is ALMOST impossible. Not that it IS impossible.
but now a days people don't speak the way they write. so go ahead and follow your teacher rules. get through school. you will most likely pick up a bit of slag too. that drives english teacher insane, lol. good luck

a and b can each be correct depending on what you want the statement to project.
for example, if you are climbing the mountain "a" would be appropriate, however, if you were commenting on how you couldn't climb the mountain then "b" would be the best choice.
I hope you chose correctly on your test, and that you can convince your teacher to change his view... good luck..

Assuming this sentence completely stands alone and has no context to guide whether it is VERY difficult or TOO difficult... Either A or B make perfect sense and are correct grammatically. I'm with you.

Either A or B would be correct. A indicates that it is possible, B indicates that it is not possible, but both would be grammatically correct, depending on what you wanted to say.
