The house we've moved to has a white enamel kitchen sink. It's really dirty looking. I've tried soft scrub and the scrubbing bubbles stuff and it hasn't worked. We have really hard water here. Any ideas?

We also have a white enameled sink. I use either Comet or Ajax. If that doesn't work I've used Kaboom! that stuff is awesome, just spray it, leave it sit a while, scrub it off, rinse and voila! As a back up I use plain old bleach, spray that on and leave it sit for about 1/2 hour and just rinse. Out of the 3 I usually go for the easiest, and that would be the bleach.

First, wet the sink then sprinkle comet or ajax in there, baking soda works toof you use enough anyway let the cleaner stay and just sit there for at least 20 minutes and then scrub very hard with a sponge that has the gritty side on it, and then rinse it all off. Keep repeating until you get it as white as you can. You will see an improvement the first time.

Try drying the sink completely. Then spray with oven cleaner. Be sure you ventilate properly or spray and leave the room for a few minutes. Allow the oven cleaner to sit for about 5 min. and wipe the sink clean.
*Note* Works really well on the bathtub, tub surround and bathroom sink also.

Bleach, is probably the cheapest way to go. You may also want to try "Mr Clean" magic sponge.
