No, but I have worked in a convenience store and caught a few people stealing. Their reasons, they were homeless and were hungry, a few lost their job and was waiting for the unemployment check to come, a few were on Welfare and it was the end of the month and needed food or Pampers.

I provided for all of these people personally and asked my boss and he kicked in some, too. Most of them still come into the store, but never stole again. If they were short, they asked me and I would let them go - I have been paid back by most of them, but never required it.

Yes, when I was younger, and when I was living on the streets of this city. I stole food because I didnt have a job at the time.

Fortunately I've never had to, but if my kids need to eat or needed medicine, I'd do it without hesitation (that is if no one could help me by giving me a few dollars). There is nothing I wouldn't do for my kids.
