A He-man. Because it gives the power to control others and be praised at which children mostly are found wanting to their expectations.
Well now...better I forgot it. Real goal are attainable with a little sweat but unreal goals are for dreams and escapism.

I wanted to be a teacher. I'm not sure why, I just thought it would be fun. I ended up changing that childhood dream. I still went to college but for a totally unrelated major.

I wanted to be a beauty therapist and I studied to become on then went on to do my degree in Anatomy and Physiology. I worked as a therapist for 4 years then moved to London to work in a salon here and learn holistic treatments like Indian Head Massage. i slipped coming out of a shop one day and broke my arm badly, so I had to give up my career of choice, now I work as a receptionist.

I wanted to be a librarian when I was really little because I love reading so much, but then I found out you have to do more than read books, so I gave up on that. I also don't drive, and the jobs going at my local libraries require you to have a license.

I have an interesting story...
I wanted to be a graphic designer...and I was going to a technical school...
When when I was graduating highschool and had my graduation party we were digging out all my old stuff and found a paper when i was in kindergarden and it said on the paper "when I grow up I want to be..." I wrote "an artist!" and I am :)
