Generally yes. Woman are making great strides, but still in process. We are too understanding of men, but even that is changing some. There are ancient tribes, I read about [think Nat'l Geog.], where the women were actually the leader - a maternal society. Another one the men and women actually were pretty equal in power within tribe politics. Pretty cool. So both are possible for people, naturally. [Think these were in New Guinea?]

It may seem that way. But NO men do not dominate societies world wide. I don't know what the percentage rate would be, but I feel that in this day and time, there is not even too much dominating at home behind closed doors. Unless they're from the stone age. Men are more accommodating with the opposite sex today. That's because women are not giving up too much sex if they don't get their way. LOL! But to me there is more communication and I think that in most families, men and women are doing their part in order to keep the families together. The only time you would see or hear of any dominance going on, most of the time there is a history of violence from that person whether it be man or woman. But in conclusion----No men are not the only ones running the show anymore. I think now it kind of splitting down the middle. Even in politics. Someone is listening to their woman. Because when Ronald Regan was President he was definitely listening to Nancy! Nancy was running the show!

Ermm...tricky question this one. If you base this on domination as in political domination, then yes, certainly. There are more men in Parliament, presidents, kings etc, then women. However this is not entirely true if you look at Oprah Winfley, Martha Stewart, women who were able to build their own empire and achieve a different kind of (status, wealth) domination. However i think they are rare examples and do not account for the majority.
