I have only been able to come up with this information from the Welsh Assembley:

Vale Mental Health (Llandough) £6.412

£6.4m capital funding for the development which will be a 38-bed inpatient Adult Acute Mental Health Unit replacing provision at Sully Hospital [Press Release 12th March, 2004]. The Full Business Case for Adult Mental Health Services at Llandough was approved on 22 January 2004. The FBC concentrates on phase A of the development on the site of the St Mary’s Day Hospital (Llandough.[Capital & Estates records]

Presumably the isolation hospital wasn't a listed building and by the very nature of things a place which people didn't take much notice of.

How very interesting. You'd make a fabulous dinner party guest. Don't be surprised if Michael Parkinson invites you onto his show to discuss this issue. Have you thought of writing a book on the subject?
