It's called "The Notebook".
I watch alot of movies and most of them although I think are good, don't affect me the way this one did. I can't remember the last time I cried watching a movie. I can't stop thinking about it, and wonder how many of you saw it...and what are your thoughts?
If you haven't seen it....I highly recommend it. But I must warn you......this movie will touch you in a special way.....
Thanks for any comments.

I want to thank everyone who has answered so far. This movie is by far the best movie I think I have seen. And to all of you that have read the book, I am going to go out and buy it this afternoon. I know that I already know the ending, but there is always more information in the book so I cant wait to start reading it....again..thanks to all !!!!

im not one to cry at movies at all, i usually dont even watch that kind of a movie im more into the scary ones and i find it hard to even get scared watching them , im not weak stomached at all, but i was couch ridden with an injury and the movie the notebook came on so i decided to watch it the story seemed appealing and kept my interest , i have never cried so much in my entire life, i truly felt the heartache this man had ,and the devotion he felt for his wife just to regain one minute with her again .
this was definatly a movie i would watch over again .
i truly enjoyed it.

Excellent movie. It stays with you days after you watch it. I've seen it so many times and cry uncontrollably every single time. It is such a touching movie. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have such great chemistry together. It's amazing. I'm an avid book reader as well so I read the book way before the movie came out and must say, books are usually 10x's better than the movie that is based on them, but this film held up to the book in my opinion. The book, the movie, all in all just one word...Excellent! :)

I saw the movie and read the book...AMAZING!! I dont cry to many movies but I did to this one..I love what Noah and Ally have together!! everytime I watch it I want a boyfriend! I was so happy when I found out that those 2 actors were dating in real life!! they just seem so perfect together!
also if the love scenes are too much for anyone to watch there is a great dvd player that you can download filters to and cut out any unwanted part of the film that you feel is too much for you. you dont have to buy any special dvd or anything, just download the filters. the site where you can learn moreis www.clearplay.com I love having it!

"The Notebook" was an awesome movie. It does touch you and it leaves you with someone. As a female- you want someone to want you that much and chase after you. As a male-....ok, the movie is more of a chick flick but, I'm sure it helps guys to be in a relationship when they see it. Have you read the book? It hits you harder than the movie does, all of Nicholas Sparks' books do. They make you want that elusive movie-style love that apparently exists somewhere.

We own the dvd and have watched it several times, it's that sort of film.
It is touching, how he stayed with her all those years even when she didn't even know him.
Yes, it is a weepy and deserves all the high praise it receives. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like the movie.
Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams are great young actors and we'll see plenty more of them.

I normally don't go to chick flicks, but this was a very moving tale. Even I teared up a bit at it.
One reason that I recommend it to people who want a good romance film, as it is so touching
