Have beings from another planet been on earth, do they walk amongst us and does the government communicate with them? Are the governments hiding this from us, slowly making us get used to the idea with hollywood movies etc?

They have been and will be... meteors and other foreign objects entered earth have some microbes in it. Some would survived along the way if they could withstand the burning heat as they hit the earth's atmosphere.

No. It is not impossible, but it is less likely than that I should fly by flapping my arms. Given the enormous distances, and the fundamental limit on speed arising from special relativity, it is not a realistic prospect, even for a civilization more advanced than ours.
