The salary depends on the level, the technology, your skill level, the standard of the company, the reputation of your educational institute, whether you are an engineer or BCA/MCA or Diploma. It is a paradox that highly reputed companies are not good paymasters but the other factors are very good and employees are treated with respect. Some thirdrate S/W companies pay high salaries to attract employees but their treatment of employees may not be good. The range of salaries per month could be as follows:
Entry level - Rs 20K - 35K
1-2 yrs exp - Rs 25K - 50 K
3-5 yrs exp - Rs 30K - 100K
5-8 yrs exp - Rs 50K - 200K
8-10 yrs exp - Rs 100K-300K
Over 10 yrs it completely depends on the kind of job, complexity, span of management and responsibility, niche technology etc.

Who pronounced its severe in comparison to all different international places. Its greater in eu and US international places so the agencies are outsourcing them to India. yet its much less in another international places than in India yet their high quality isn't so good.
