What annoys me is that you can't hear the dialogue because of the loud background music. It bothers my dad a lot,too-he has substantial hearing loss in both ears and has to turn up the volume to hear anything,so when the background music drowns out the dialogue,it really annoys him.

Depends on the programme,on some the music adds to it,on others it gets in the way of what your trying to hear.

no - never really thought about it. I really HATE laughter track though. It's really distracting and usually shows the programme isn't that funny to start with if they need a laughter track to tell me when I should be laughing.

Not really annoying, but rather it just gets stuck in my head very easily. But I geuss they do that and choose songs like that so they WILL get stuck in your head, so youre thinking about their product.
And that in itself is annoying.
