This is not a great high school record. But I think the thing that will really catch the eye of the admssions office is the fact that you got 4 on an AP test, but you got pretty mediocre grades. I think the question they will be asking is, is this a pretty smart kid who doesnt want to work?

The one thing I've been told by college recruiters over and over is, we don't want any smart, lazy kids. We want kids who are hardworking and dedicated. I think that if you apply at a competitive school, that AP grade might count against you more than it will count for you.
