As Your Take Home Pay Is AED 2500, Its Decent, since a lot of people in the same field get a lot lesser and have longer working hours, in fact its good since you dint have to worry about airline tickets for going back home, housing (Apts. In Dubai Take A Big Chunk Of Your Salary) just as your employer if he/she is providing you with medical insurance, cause (god forbid) if any thing would ever happen, you shouldn't end up paying like crazy, for your medical bills.

2,500! you must be joking! listen, I do not know your background nor living standards but this salary is by all means on the extremly low side. I lived there and i could not survive a year at a 18,000 AED salary. A tiny apartment rent for 1 year (paid ahead) and far from the city is no less than 120,000 AED!. Dubai is expensive, so unless you do not plan on renting an apartment with a dozen other people, not going out, not buying anything execept the very basic necessities, then I strongly suggest you reject that offer immediatly.

AED 2500 is about what an Indian would get. Depends on your commission! A good meal out in Dubai will cost you about AED 300. A Beer is about AED 25-30. An Average Western Expat salaryb is about AED 15000!

40K a year is really poor. My mum works in abu dhabi and gets just under 200K a year as well as a 4bdrm apartment, free flights home etc. You might be ok if it is just u staying in dubai but if you have a family it wont be enough.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT AT ALL! STAY WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW, UNLESS YOU ARE AN INDIAN, WANT TO SHARE A ROOM WITH 10 OTHERS AND WANT TO EAT RICE EVERY DAY
WITH THAT KIND OF SALARY YOU ARE EVEN NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE A CAR OR BRING OVER YOUR SPOUSE.
