I was wondering the same thing this morning. I sure did feel my heart pounding, so it had to increase my heartrate! I don't think it is the only exercise you should rely on. :) Try walking 30 minutes a day! Then come back and masturbate.

Obviously...well, maybe not...anyway, your blood pressure will increase with the act and with the climax. The period after climax is a calming time - for most men, anyway - so I would think it works both ways.
Although I am no medical professional, if there is such, I know one can reduce their heart rate and breathing simply by mental concentration. This action would, in turn, reduce ones blood pressure.
Somehow you know you have high blood pressure and you want to lower it. Engaging in an activity requiring multiple muscles, mental concentration, rapid bodily movements, sweating and panting, and overall physical, mental and emotional excitement would actually raise ones blood pressure even higher, wouldn't it?
I guess you'll just have to try it and see. A nurse, however, may give you a hand.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

There is no evidence to prove that masturbation causes low blood pressure but there can be temporary elevation of blood pressure during sexual excitement and following orgasm there is release of chamical mediators called endorphins by the brain resulting in a pleasant sense of well being and relaxation which brings the blood pressure back to original level. Sex including masturbation is a good stess buster but to use masturbation as a tool to reduce blood pressure is not helpful.

I'm guessing your BP goes up when you're doing it and down when you're done.
