Yes I have it and it really isn't much different than 6. I wouldn't bother getting it!

Its a 14MB file so takes around 30mins on my 64kbps connection.
Some programs like Norton Internet Security 2006 are not compatible with it. Since their interface depends on IE, after installing IE you get some problems opening some tabs in its main window.
Overall the NEW IE7 is fairly faster than IE6 and also has got many advanced features with improved security. Go for the download

I use it on all my computers now.

It only takes a couple of mins to download / install on a fast BB connection.

I find it OK, however there are still some annoyances with it (such as I still can't find my history!). The tabbed browsing is fantastic though.

I have already started writing web pages that take advantage of the tabbed browsing, such as multiple financial sheets, etc.

I would heartily recommend it!

lot's of people download it and not like the way it was so they went back to IE6 if ur on vcable internet it should take no more then 3 min to download ., if you dont like IE7 you can go back to IE 6 easy

hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<<
then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again

I did - I had it for one day and then uninstalled it. They have a lot to fix before I'll use it again. It only took maybe 10 minutes to get it downloaded, but I'm on a fast DSL for work. It took longer to uninstall. For now I'll use Opera for a tabbed internet experience - theirs actually works and it works well.
