Dear mrsdennyd****

1. 1 bttle of acetone
2. baby oil
3. 2 x steel bowls
4. 2 hours
Doing one hand at a time, put enough acetone in the silver bowl to cover the nails of your hand. In the other bowl hot kettle water . Rest the bowl with acetone/1 capful of baby oil, on top of the other bowl (as if you were going to melt chocolate!!).
Rest your hand in the acetone for half an hour check and see if the acrylic has disintegrated if there is a little left, either scrape off with a wooden cuticle stick or carry on soaking.
Repeat with the other hand.
Please be very careful afterwards as your own nails will be extremely soft. That is why it is better to soak off at a nail salon and let them do an overlay on top of your own nails.
Luv peppa-anne.

This is how they do it at the salon I get my nails done at:

Buy pure acetone at the pharmacy - comes in a big bottle, or use regular nail polish remover, but the pure acetone is best.

Heat up water in a dish, preferably glass.
In another glass dish, pour in the acetone, set the acetone filled dish into the dish of heated water. If it's warm, the acetone works better/faster.

Put one hand in at a time, cover with a dish towel, sit for a bit, maybe 5 minutes maybe more. It will dissolve off.

Good luck!

Try using nail polish remover. if it doesn't work, apply lime water, and the arcylic will surely peel off.
