I'm not English, I'm Welsh.

But the same problems that you have in England we have in Wales.

Too much immigration, not enough jobs, not enough affordable homes, people living below the poverty line, politicians who don't give a damn, under funded health service.

If things dont get better I'll be voting BNP and thats a real shocker as we're all devout Labour/Socialists round here. But we've seem the mess that so-called "Labour" (Nye Bevan would be spinning in his grave at that title being applied to Blair and his cronies) have made of this country. No thanks.

You really have to ask what is right with England at the moment. The N.H.S.,education,immigration,old age care, law and order all in a shambolic state. We have a government hell bent on intruding into every aspect of our lives, telling us porky pies, passing laws and stealth taxes without consulting the electorate as to the consequences, whilst getting their snouts deeper into the trough to benefit their pensions etc. At the moment I think that the Conservatives are the best of a bad bunch, we do not have a lot of choice really.

1) Immigration is making it so that there are more immigrants than proper British people on our island. They are also bringing with them crime, and their cultures which constantly clash. When you walk through London, you'd probably see more immigrants than proper English.

2) Liberalism. It's responsible for letting in everyone from the 3rd world. It's responsible for enforcing this political correctness on everyone. When London was attacked, there was no retaliation, no real hunting down and clamping down of Islamic activity which is clearly the sorce from which terrorism originates.

3) Islam. It just doesn't mix well with us. Freedom of speech and the press certainly are ones not comaptible with Islam. They don't respect our beliefs and traditions in our own country. EG, that woman who refused to remove her veil. English teachers don't wear veils and so she must remove it.

4) Political correctness. You cannot say/do anything in England without been accused of offending someone. Everything must be just so, that it doesn't offend anyone, even if it means bending the truth. It's basically ruled out freedom of speech (unless it's the Left talking, its a tool of the Left.). I even heard one guy on here say he couldn't get a job because everything was for "people of an ethnic background". Apart form this obvious stupid rule, its the way its written. Why not just say non-whites?

5) Lack of traditional values. The younger people are rated as the most violent youngsters in Europe. It's all this in-your-face sex, drugs, alcohol bull. (I'm 19 and even I say that).

For anyone offended, I grovel for your forgiveness that I'm so un-PC.

I'll vote for the Tories but I don't think it would help. England will never be as great as it once was.

Political Correctness and the gagging of our freedom of speech - the pandering to every minority interest to the detriment of everyone and the incompetence and self interest of the Labour government. I'll be voting Conservative.

problem is that this country has turned into a dustbin of sorts. anybody that other countries wont take they seem to end up here. its only a small country but our levels of imigrants is far higher than most larger and more equiped European countries. this is no way racist but surely must have better border control and immigration laws. i can't get a property to rent from council because the list is full of "priority" case immigrants. thankyou Mr. Blair!!!

If I were English I'd keep voting for the Labour Party.

Many Americans aren't as well educated as the English, and don't understand that UK Prime Ministers aren't directly elected.

I lived there for 2 years, and the people are great, and the UK has superior health, education, and social systems.
