There was once when I was just at home alone & I had a glass of water sitting out. I took a sip of it & I felt something crunchy between my teeth. I quickly started spitting. There wasn't much of a taste but it still makes me feel nauseas whenever I think about the fact that I chewed on a housefly! For the longest time I had to inspect my water glasses very carefully everytime I wanted to take a swallow. Also, there was a time in Lonestar (so expensive) that I was with my husband & I was eating fettucini alfredo. It had veggies to the side & I wasn't planning on eating those anyway but we were talking away & all of a sudden he reached over to my plate & poked out a little grub! We told our waitress & they let us have that part of the meal free & they brought me some more. We weren't really mad because it probably was simply hiding in one of the veggies so it wasn't their fault but I wasn't all that hungry afterwards. May you never have to chew on a fly or a grub worm!

I found a snail that had been hiding in my broccoli - it was cooked!! I shouldn't complain, coz snails are a delicacy here!

I also opened some Parmesan cheese, scattered it all over my pasta, and then realised the packet was full of crawly little maggots - AARGH!!

I bit into a peach once, and it sort of cracked open, incluing the peach stone - inside the peach stone there was an earwig. They are one insect that repulses me completely.

Last one - in a loaf of bread, I found some plastic that had been baked into the loaf - odd! It still had writing on it too, but it had melted a bit.

YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

;-)

Other than the occasional bits of hair that aren't mine, the worst thing I've ever found in my food was a bit of the blue plastic that separates pastry sheets. I found it baked in the pie I bought from a kiosk. At least I knew they made them fresh!

Thank god that has never happened to me. I think I would be completely traumatized especially about ever eating that food again. I HATE bugs!!!

I was housesitting once, and when I opened a packet of cereal they left for me, a cockroach ran out. Probably you heard my screams.
