I have recently purchased Shameless series 3 and recommend it as it is the best ever.

I personally dont think Ever, but its in my top 3 of funniest programmes. In fact, my top 2, only to be beaten by Still Game. Ali G / Borat comes third.

I wouldn't say funniest, as it has too much in the way of poignant drama etc as compared to something llike classic Buzzcocks or Whose Line or something that just has you laughing start to finish, but it's certainly one of the best programmes ever.

Maybe not the funniest ever as there is a lot to chose from.
However I would say its definitely up the amongst the best.

It may be funny in comparison with other dramas, sure but not funnier than a lot of comedies eg Father Ted, Fawlty Towers

oohhh dont know about the funniest, but it certainly is good, and makes me laugh. I like the old classics, Rosanne, Friends etc, but its up there with some of the best.

Though it is very good, it's far from being the funniest EVER. I doubt it would make the top fifty list, to be honest.

definatly, i bought the box set with all 3 series and cant stop watching it!! top comedy should be winning awards left right and centre in my opinion!

I never got in to it. I'd say South Park is funnier.
