The distance is very big.When you say the truth, you have a divine feeling, and there is nothing to bother you.There is no regret, because some day, the truth gets revealed,and thn you will not have to be ashamed in front of anybody.
While if you lie,there is always something bothering you, as to what will happen when your lie is caught.Also you try to say a number of other lies to hide one.You tend to make up stories and when they turn out to be false, then yuo are ashamed.
Somewhere in your heart you always feel guilty that you said a lie!!!
You also hurt your close ones due to this.
Here lies the distance...

da distance is a very thin line. you can be telling da whole truth and one little word can make the whole thing a lie.
but there is a massive distance between a truth and a lie, as truth always wins

Lie will makes U tell Lie throughout the life but truth once told is enough Lie is strong at the start truth is strong at the end.

There is a distance but for whom, who can find that distance, depends person,There is a distance for the peson, who can analyse for truth and lie..A lot of faith makes both same sometimes..and lie becomes true ..but as Ur question there is unlimited distance between those words...

I'd say the distance is the speed it takes for you to know what's right and what's wrong. The truth is right... and a lie is wrong. Your conscience will let you know. And so will God's word.
