It is an absolute fact that the Bush admin has lied time and time again knowingly to keep the people of the USA living in fear of a terrorist boogey man. That way they'll vote the way the GOP wants.
Well you know what? People now know the boogeyman for what he is, a pack of lies.
And tomorrow, they will send Bush a clear message about that.

Those that rule have always lied to those they rule over. That's no secret. It has always been that way and will always be that way.
What has evolved since the Bush's moved into the White House is that they don't care if the people know that they are lying. They just go right ahead and do what Cheney and the others want and too bad for the rest of us. They stole the election the second time, (c'mon do you think it was a coincidence that the votes that were called in question were where Jeb Bush was in charge?), or how about the price of gas going up before summer and mysteriously going down now, or those weapons of mass destruction were where again...?
I sure hope at least this time people wakeup and vote Democratic especially the evangelicals who have been lied to right along with the rest of us.

It's possible. Let's assume that it is.
What did the Democrats offer us in 2000?
They offered Gore, who maintained silence about Clinton's perjury and obstruction of justice, and who claimed to have had a hand in inventing the internet even though it was already in existence when he entered politics, and claimed ignorance of illegal campaign contributions that occurred at an event that was set up specifically for the purpose.
Then you have John Kerry, who regularly takes firm positions on both sides of major issues, ran on an exaggerated war record while glossing over his post-war record, and is the intended beneficiary of several fabricated stories about GWB.
So if we're being lied to by GWB, then it's either the fault of the Democrats for not giving us anything better, and the fault of every voter that accepts the "lesser of two evils" scenario as a fact of life.
Personally, I voted for Harry Browne in 2000, and for Michael Badnarik in 2004.

Politicians always lie. It's a known fact. One moment they say this, and the other moment they do exactly the opposite of what the siad previously. You can not make a career in politics without lying or using all kind of tricks. I dont believe i'll still live and see the day where all the politicians say the truth and respect it. It's not possible. It's in the human character to lie, and still believe it's an innocent lie because it will not hurt other persons.

No more so then any other administration. Clinton lied, the other Bush lied, Reagen lied, Carter lied. They all do to keep the country safe. They cannot always tell the truth because the public cannot handle it.

Yes, and so does every administration. It's part of the apathy of American voters.
Term-limits are needed. Shorten the terms for Senators to four years and two terms. Congressmen and women, four terms.
A senator in just two terms can cause a lot of damage under the present terms.

It's taken five and a half, almost six years, to realize this...where've you been?
The Bush Administration could teach Hitler and Stalin a thing or two about The Big Lie:
- Gore lost in 2000...A LIE
- 9/11 "Official Story"...A LIE
- Why they invaded Afghanistan...A LIE
- Iraq: Weapons Of Mass Destruction...A LIE
- Why they invaded Iraq...A LIE
- Republicans won Ohio in 2004...A LIE
Do I have to go on, or do you get the idea....

I think that ALL governments systematically lie to the people. They seem to be able to get away with it. I've never known a government I could trust!

Im glad you said'administration' not politicians, and certainly not Dubyah, who i believe is as dense as a neutron star!..Is he real? or is this some sort of a Texan joke?..They lie..They lie like pigs in mud!..But! many of them really believe the lies they tell, all of it is scripted for them and they spout ot off the autoque thinking its all true, because they are programmed to think like that!.Look at Dubyah!..He really does believe that Iraq is a democracy!..He is lying, but doesnt know any better!..We have a Prime Minister here in Australia, {we were first into Iraq with the USA}..Who makes the President look and sound like a paragon of virtue!..Because our PM KNOWS hes lying, dissembling and fabricating everytime he opens his mouth and says anything at all!..So you Americans are not alone with politicians who tell us spectacular 'whoppers' right in our faces, and then say "Believe me, im a christian!" ...
