The general estimate is that 10% of the population is homosexual. So, that figure should apply to your high school or college. The big difference between the two is that gay students go to colleges where they'll be accepted. I went to a college that had so many gay students that it was referred to as unc-gay, instead of unc-greensboro. In high school, its a roll of the dice. In college, you have a choice, and lots of people are going to head to a college where they won't have to struggle to meet people or find acceptance.

In larger, more tolerant colleges, there's a lot of lesbians, bisexuals, and queer women. In high school there are girls that are experimenting, but most of the lesbians and bi girls are too afraid to come out or are still questioning their sexuality.

I don't know but my boarding school was full of them.
I didn't even know it - - but was friends with them. Then I walked in on two of them in a dorm room, they were in a passionate embrace.
Talk about awkward situations...... but quite funny in the end. My male friends love to hear that story - and it's totally true.
