How about nanomachine? If we can get them to work, they can do practically anything, from fixing diseased hearts to cleaning up oil spills.

several weeks ago on AOL I read where some scientists actually moved a book from one place to another (kinda like on star trek, when they were beamed up) in a machine. I found that very new and interesting. humans next?
