Yes, "AVG free" is the one to go for. I also use "spybot search and destroy" and "PCrescue" with good results. All are free

Free AVG is definitely the best free one out there. It even beats some anti-viruses that you pay for, and there is no 30 day free trial or any trial. It is the same thing as having an anti-virus you pay for. Take it from a guy who has a lot of experience with viruses.

AVG is totally worthless It is JUNK. I strongly recommend active virus shield. It is free.

There's two that I know of
AVG antivirus (I use this one and as long as you're on the internet regularly and you set it up to auto update every few days it's pretty good).
The other is Avast Antivirus, which I've never used but I've heard it's good
