I have 4 network computers in the house, and the electricity post is very near to my house. Is it dangerous? Can u recommend safety measures to avoid danger during lightning? Or can you give some website about this article?

very, i lost everything in my computer once because of lightning. if you're sure to unplug your computer whenever theres a storm coming, you should be alright

i live in florida ... lightening capital of the US ... lightening has gotten several things of mine over the years including some pc parts .. usually a modem or a nic card ... i can tel you if lightening is striking and you hear thunder the safest thing to do is uplug everything including ur phoneline/cable line from ur modem ... the best protection you can have is a ups ...
